18.

15 month old Baby J is always ready to help.  Like when he found these small scented disposable bags inside an unzipped pocket of his diaper bag.  He instantly noticed that they were inconveniently rolled into a little plastic holding wheel.  He didn't want his momma to have to go through all the work of turning the wheel to simply retrieve a bag, so the sweet thing went ahead and took all the bags out the wheel for me.  Like I said, always ready (willing) to help.  ;)

In other Baby J news: today was his 15 month check-up appointment at the doctor.  He now weighs 21 lbs and is 31 inches long.  Currently he has 7 teeth (4 on top and 3 on bottom).  His favorite foods are bananas and cheese.  He is still a big fan of pureed sweet potatoes, they have been a steady favorite since he began eating solids.  He can point to his toes and eyes.  And sometimes his nose and ears.  He is a great stacker of blocks and rings.  Loves his pups, and is especially fascinated by their tails.  He wants so badly to get a hold of one, but the dogs are too quick and their tails are too tiny for him to have a chance.  He is the best moochie giver.  He is also in a wonderful sleeping phase right now.
[I call it a phase because I am learning that baby sleep patterns shift a lot and as soon as we think our routine is solid something will come along and mess it up.  But on the flip side, when we are going through a rough sleep time, it always passes and we get back on track.]
So all in all we have ourselves a very healthy and very happy 15 month old baby boy, and that makes us very blessed and very happy parents.
