A very excited monkey ready to trick-or-treat!
We practiced knocking and saying trick or treat at home.
In the car he was very enthusiastic about it.
But when it came time to do it at a stranger's house, he developed stage fright. Staring at the home owner, clutching the closest parent. He slowly warmed up and would whisper, "trick or treat".
MM and I loved watching him go out for the first time on Halloween. This evening was one of those parenting moments when we couldn't stop smiling. Everything J did was adorable to us. The 3 of us had a lot of fun!
Once Baby J was fast asleep, mom and dad divided up the loot (parental perk!) MM took his stash to work, I don't think he trusted me to stay out of it while he is away!
