With a bittersweet heart we say goodbye to Sister's newborness and hello to our infant. I once heard a doctor refer to the first 3 months of a baby's life as the 4th trimester and I agree with his mentality.
Baby L's smiles, giggles, and babble are so much fun. She is a happy baby; growing calmer with each month of life. She still sleeps tightly swaddled at night. Daddy is the master swaddler of the family. She enjoys small bouts in the swing and is now big enough to go to the church nursery on Sunday mornings. Big Brother J absolutely adores her. I love watching him with her and look forward to seeing their relationship grow. Juggling 2 kids has become much less scary; I even venture out of the house [alone with the them] regularly... which usually makes me feel like super mom!
And just as I say with each passing month... I can't believe she's 3 months old already!
