In 2 days Marshall and I will be celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary. When I think back to that day I can't help but smile... it truly was my dream day! This year our anniversary happens to fall the same week we are packing up and moving 1000+ miles across the country. The moving company and exterminator are scheduled to come that day... talk about romantic! Haha!

A couple weeks ago, we had our first date night since the birth of our son. Marshall's mom and sister came to Lawton to spend the weekend with us and on Friday night they watched Jase so that we could have some fun adult time together. A very nice friend gave us his tickets to the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Sacramento Kings game. We drove up to Bricktown, used a parking pass that superbly located, and made our way into the Ford Center. Our tickets were club level tickets. If you have never watched a sporting event from the club level, it's something you should do! Neither of us had ever had until this night. The club level is the fancy level... it's smaller than the other levels and I doubt there is a bad seat in the entire section. The bathrooms are cleaner, the floors are carpeted, the food is tastier (we recommend the supreme nachos and caramel brownie), and there are no drink carts instead there are full bars! That night I enjoyed my first "adult" beverage in quite a long time. A cape cod with a splash of orange juice... yum. :)

The OKC Thunder put on quite a show! The team introductions with music, smoke, and lights; the competitions and fun games; the dancers; the bison drum show; and of course the Basketball! We had a blast! Kevin Durant (the most popular and my favorite Thunder player) had a good game, scoring 24 points. The Thunder won 102-87.
On a side note Marshall gave me a Kevin Durant jersey for Christmas and now every time I see it I will be reminded of our 2nd anniversary date night! Go Thunder!
